LOVE IT !!!
It’s very easy to maintain if you have a little power in your hands, but I’m not gonna keep on twisting it. I just want it in one position never mind the bad reviews. People break it because they sit there and pull on it and keep twisting it all over the place just be careful when you’re bending it , You got a brace it with your other hand and only been the metal Don’t hold onto the plastic parts and don’t keep over twisting it just get it to where you like it the first time . Don’t hold onto the ends of it. Just use where it bends to shape it. If you need to bend it more or anything, I would remove it from its base, then bend it and then put it back on.Don’t bend it while the base is attached to the furniture you’ll put too much stress on the base and that’s why it breaks.

Best purchase ever
This is such an amazing gooseneck! The base of it opens up wide to fit on a variety of edges and screws down tightly. I personally love to open it wide to clamp it down on the back of the couch for a good rot session. The gooseneck portion of it is STURDY. It does take some effort to maneuver it, but that's what makes it so great- it's not going to collapse under the "weight" of the Kindle and whatever case you have on it. Plus the gooseneck is protected by a leather casing, so it's not going to get damaged. The gooseneck leads into a silicone neck that's more easily bendable. This section is probably 6-8" in length and is used to adjust the position of your Kindle's height, etc.The silicone portion leads into the clamp. This is one of my favorite features of the whole thing. Not only does the clamp portion rotate around, but the actual clamps that hold the Kindle have grip "ropes" to pull on so you're not fighting for your life trying to get the Kindle in and out of the assembly!! With these ropes, inserting the Kindle and removing it are a BREEZE!The clamps also have a hole so you can easily plug in your Kindle and charge it while reading if you need to, and you can also access your wake-up button easily. This is seriously some of the best money I've spent on my Kindle since I bought the Kindle itself lol pair this with some page turners and you barely have to move at all!

Works Very Well
I purchased the Gooseneck Tablet holder to be able to read in bed while resting on my back. I had doubts that it would be strong enough to hold my 2018 Tablet "A". It does the trick easily. The goose neck is strong metal. When I touch it to turn the page, it doesn't bounce around. No assembly, just clamp onto my bedframe & use the clamp to hold the tablet (without the tablet case.) The clamp for the Bedframe/Headboard is not very wide, I did have a bit of a hard time finding a small enough part to fasten it to. I took a 'star' away for that. Otherwise it was easy. I recommend.

Good stand … unfortunate fatigue failure
The tablet stand served the function up, not only holding my small iPhone 13 mini, but also holding my iPad. I really appreciated that it could hold both.I found that the clamp was wide enough to fit many surfaces so that I could use it while sitting at the table or I could use it in the bed or I could use it in a chair. That flexibility was much appreciated.I found the metal rod to be stiff enough so that the vibration in the movement was not too much. It allowed me to put it in different positions successfully.I use this about once a week for the last six months and am fairly gentle with my equipment. Unfortunately, the metal flexible rod that connects to the phone and tablet attachment has broken. This seems to be a fatigue failure to me. Shifting the position of the phone back-and-forth has worn out the metal and caused it to break. I am confident that my shifting the physician on the phone was not very frequent. So this is a problem. The unit is no longer something that I can use.I have taken a look to see if there is any anyway in which I can repair this. I have not been able to come up with a successful solution. I have now reached out to the company in hope that a satisfactory answer and solution can be found. I do not wish to throw away something after only six months.
